John Wiseman - Probation Director
John became the probation director of Dorset, Devon and Cornwall Community Rehabilitation Company (DDC CRC) in September 2015, in addition to his existing role as probation director for the Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire Community Rehabilitation Company (BGSW CRC).
Having qualified as a probation officer in 1981, John has extensive knowledge and experience of working in the field of criminal justice both in the United Kingdom and New Zealand, including over 14 years' experience in senior management positions.
John is a passionate believer in the value of partnership working and has been at the cutting edge of the development of a partnership approach to the work of the service, both locally and nationally, working with a variety of partner agencies from the statutory, voluntary and private sectors.
Riana Taylor - Head of operations
Riana qualified with a Masters in Criminology in 1988 and has held senior roles in criminal justice reform in South Africa, the Disability Rights Commission and probation in the UK, alongside roles focusing on leadership development and gender equality in China and Vietnam.
Anne Proctor – Assistant chief officer
Anne qualified as a probation officer in 1990, and since has worked in a wide variety of practitioner, researcher and middle/senior management posts in both the North West and Devon and Cornwall including a secondment as HM Inspector for HM Inspectorate of Probation.
Kerri Nason – Assistant chief officer
Kerri started as a volunteer in Torquay in the early 1990's whilst studying for her degree in social policy and criminal justice, and then becoming one of the first successful candidates on the Probation Officer degree qualification. After spending time in middle management, and being seconded to the local criminal justice board to set up and develop community advice desks in courts and work on the development and consistency of Turnaround IOM, she progressed to senior management.
Angela Kennedy – Assistant chief officer
Angela has worked for most of her career in probation and has held both middle and senior management roles in a variety of areas, including Integrated Offender Management, development of specialised hubs to enable service delivery in the community and leading local delivery units.
Elaine Morgan – Assistant chief officer
Having started as a trainee probation officer in 1992, Elaine has significant experience of probation work as a probation officer, team manager and senior manager. This includes leading on offender management, performance, local delivery units, interventions and currently operational hub development.
